So What Do I Eat Anyway?

Are you frustrated with trying to lose weight and when you do, it doesn’t stay off for long?

Are you tired of being sick and tired?

Are you confused about what’s healthy and what’s not?

Do you hesitate to try to change your diet, because honestly you love ice cream, fast food and lattes?

Does the thought of trying to lose weight bring feelings of discouragement because of past failures?

                                                                Well you’re not alone!

I’ve struggled like you have, to find the perfect diet, exercised like crazy, stressed when I saw fat in the mirror, cried when the scale wouldn’t budge, frustrated with myself because I gave in again to sugar cravings and temptations.

So I’m going to let you in on a little secret that I have found in order to lose weight and keep it off!  Are you ready?

STOP TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT!

Crazy, right?  How in the world do you lose weight and keep it off without trying?  The answer is to instead, focus on healing your body!  We’ve been taught that we are overweight because we just ate too many calories.  But the truth is, we are over weight because we are toxic and deficient.  We have taken in too many toxins through the things we’ve put in and on our body and we haven’t been consuming enough vitamins and minerals, for our bodies to function properly and keep us fit and healthy!

So here is the most important and most difficult thing to accept!  God has a design for our bodies.  The design is that we would eat the food he created, from plants that are filled with all the nutrients we need to protect us. The Industrial Revolution led us farther and farther away from God’s design, and the products we mostly consume now, our bodies don’t even recognize as food.

What are we to do?

  1. Repent from not stewarding our body the way God designed. Surrender it to him!
  2. Stop consuming damaging products!
  3. Nutrify the body with God’s food and additional vitamins, minerals and herbs.
  4. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily.
  5. Detox daily
  6. Exercise
  7. Rest
